Continuing Education Credits
AHP has been approved as a provider of Continuing Education Credit by the
organizations or Boards listed below. Most workshops have been approved for
nine (9) credit hours.
NOTE: Friday/Saturday workshops for Joseph Chilton Pearce have been approved for nine (9) credit hours. His Sunday workshops
are
approved for four (4) credit hours.
The Energy Medicine workshop by Donna Eden has been approved for 9 credit hours.
The Power of Energy Psychology workshop by David Feinstein has been approved for 4 credit hours.
California LCSWs & MFTs: Course meets the qualifications
for continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California
Board of Behavioral Sciences, provider number PCE 604.
Counselors: AHP is recognized by the National Board for Certified
Counselors (provider #5360) to offer continuing education for National Certified
Counselors and adheres to CEC guidelines.
Massage Therapists: The American Massage Therapy Association
(AMTA) and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) do not
certify any programs, but will accept these hours if the individual massage
therapist feels they are applicable to his or her practice.
Nurses: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered
Nursing, Provider #CEP8738.
Social Workers: The State of Illinois Department of Professional
Regulation for Registered Social Workers, license #159-000118.
Psychologists: (Belleruth Naparstek - Joseph Chilton Pearce)
Psychologists can obtain CE hours through the co-sponsorship of the Spiritual
Competency Resource Center. Spiritual Competency Resource Center is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Spiritual Competency Resource Center maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Learning Objectives for Belleruth Naparstek:
At the end of the Belleruth Naparstek program - Gifts of the Imagination: Guided Imagery for Surviving & Thriving Beyond Cancer - participants will be better able to:
- State 4 kinds of imagery applications
appropriate for people touched by cancer.
- Name three typical physiological reactions to a guided imagery experience.
- Cite 3 research studies affirming the efficacy of guided imagery with oncology patients.
- Recommend three ways to make an imagery experience more effective for their patients.
- Effectively lead a guided imagery exercise for their patients
- Assess whether imagery is a treatment of choice for a specific patient, or whether other mind-body methods are more appropriate.
Learning Objectives for Joseph Chilton Pearce:
At the end of the 4-hour Joe Pearce program, participants will be better able to:
- Describe the relation between the evolutionary structure and life-long development of the four-fold brain, and its interactions with the neural functions of the heart.
- Help clients avoid reciprocal negative feedback that escalates conflicts in relationships.
- Help clients maintain a coherent balance between emotional, intellectual and reasoning capacities regardless of negative environmental pressures.
At the end of the 9-hour Joe Pearce program, along with the 4-hour benefits, participants will be better able to:
- Recognize the effect of media on biological patterns of development.
- Understand root causes of adult dysfunctions in light of recent research into early childhood development.
- Describe the causes of the conflict between genetically determined development and culturally programmed behavior.
- Provide clients with an effective tool for reducing guilt and anxiety by achieving heart-brain coherence.
